Default Can 94 STS Steel lines be replaced with flex?

I am looking to buy a 94 STS tomorrow. The owner has informed me that the RR steel brake line needs to be replaced. I have experience buying hydraulic hose for fork lifts, and I know that hydraulic shops can make me a flex line of any length using better quality material than OEM wheel flex lines very inexpensively. Does anyone see any logical reason why flex line could not be used as long as it's at least OEM wheel line quality?

Given that I'm going out to see and likely buy the car tomorrow, prompt answers would be appreciated.

well rubber and brake fluid have a limit time use. steel line do not expand therefore cause all fluid to go direct to where u need it. if u use a flex line it will expand first then continue to where it needs to go it may be a small expansion but when it comes to stopping it could be that fraction that saves u.
