I've posted this once before, but not here, so here I go again. I need to do a solenoid shift replacement on a 4T80E. I have the Chilton repair manual but doesn't show the procedure. I've read alot of post and they've all said that the job was more of a mess than it is hard, but I would like to get my hands on a diagram of the 4t80e and know exactly what it is I'm dealing with. Also, I heard alot about some "check *****"? Any info would greatly be appreciated.

 

If you get the solenoid kit from GM, it will come with instructions. Kit contains both shift solenoids, bracket,& a filter to be installed in valve body.
