Throtle body/intake humming noise??
Okay, car has been great for a long while but now its telling me something.
Just in last couple days it started this humming/whining noise-upon closer inspection im 99% sure its coming from the throttle body/intake portion.
I also noted once i rev up slightly it tends to go away..more on idle..
What can this be?-any eese experienced this?

not sure on what type of humming u r hearing
but what u can do it pin point it to where u think it is and unplug the unit
when u give it more gas u lower the vacuum which in turn lowers the noise
so look for something on a vacuum line purge valve red plug
check the iac-idle air control may need cleaning
throttle body may need cleaning due to carbon build up

ok i will check that out. Also should note its doing it only when engine reaches operating temp. But ill take a look at throttle body, shouldnt be too much carbon in there as im always on top of that and-last cleaned the iac-but will take apart double check all
