codes have ignition module and g102 in common, G102 is located on lower right front of engine near knock sensor.Have you checked it?

yes i have cleaned that ground and made sure it was good, i'm going to ohm the wireing from crank sensors to ignition module to see if there is any issues there. Its been hell trying to find good wiring diagrams for this vehical. I don't have all data or mitchell to use but I found a good enough one on autozone. Still don't know where all the grounds are, I would like to clean all of them anyway, just to make sure.

Have you tried a different ignition module? You need a FSM try e-bay even local Cadillac dealer may sell you the 2 volume set if the manager believes they're old and taking up space.

does it make sense that the engine would be running 30 deg advance on ignition timing with this issue? My alternator only puts out 13.4 volts max, Isn't it supposed to be about 14.4 volts? What kinda changes did they have in electronics through these years. Are the modules and sensors the same on a 97 engine or does some of the sensors have different outputs than the 94

With charging system's low output I would take a second look at gounds including at core support. Ignition module will interchange from 93-99.
