Default 96 Deville Timing Specs and diagram

Does anyone have the timing specs and diagram for a 1996 Cadillac Deville with a 4.6 Northstar?

I'm wondering if you are referring to the timing marks on the cam gears and the crank gear? I went to my local library and went online to their database which has "ALLDATA" available to the public, which has the factory manual in a printable version. This was extremely helpful to me when I rebuilt and Time-Serted my NorthStar engine.

My freind is replacing the head gaskets and is going to have to time-sert them also. He is just needing to know the timing marks and any help that would help with the timing. Everything else he is ok with. He just doesn't have any info on the timing of it. Any help would be great. Timing marks.

Default willing to share my experience

I just finished rebuilding my NorthStars bottom end and Time-Sert all headbolts, I have heard that some dealers would only do the bolts that were stripped out, but I would think all should be done if you are going through all that effort to pull the engine. I wish I had taken a picture of all my parts which I neatly laid-out in order in the car port. This is not my first engine I've rebuilt, but this particular engine was a little more complicated than my other projects. Also I did buy a few engine specific tools to accomplish this project, so if anyone is interested in a 1st time Time-Sert kit, pulley pressed onto the left cam for the water pump operation tool, large tap driver or the new cartridge type special rear main seal installer just send me an e-mail with your needs. I'm willing to help someone out if they need these tools. The Time-Sert kit would require you to purchase a set of inserts which are cheap and available. Also I would love to answer any questions about my experience with this project. Note: I pulled the engine thru the top and not from the removed subframe, which is extemely difficult but doable. sorry this is so long but my memories are fresh and I am willing to share them.
