i have a 96 El Dorado that has a knock coming from the bottom of the engine (probly a bering) but it is not a thud more of a tick. The sound is sometime louder than other times but it's random(dosent matter if the engine is hot or cold)sometimes it's loud sometime it's notif anyone has expereanced the same thing or something similar please tell me what it might be if anything other than a bering(really dont want to throw a rod only has 70,235 miles on the thing)
