4.6L northstar oil filter bypass valve
Does anyone know where this is located. I am trying to rule things out for the oil pressure situation.
So far i have changed the oil and filter Mobil 5000 and ac-delco PF-61 filter
Replaced oil pressure sending unit. The old one was leaking.
The oil pressure light will flicker around 210* degrees. and any idle at or below 625 rpms.
I have seen so many with this situation but noone seems to have ever found a solution.
The engine purrs like a kitten at idle and has absolutely no odd noises. It is just an annoyance especially when it is saying shut off engine when you sit at lights.
