Default updating allante's looks

Amante is back from an extended stay at the spa...

Updated with painting the lower valances and boot cover and mirrors...
New wheels...
Lots of engine updating, and got crazy - powdercoated the engine covers, mounts, water pump... (engine photo is incomplete - waiting on some chrome bits too...)

Now when I turn my caddy on - it returns the favor...

As usual, tasteful and elegant, like the owner I imagine.

GARY -

Vogue aftermarkets - they are called "Sage" - great cheap buy - I think it is pretty easy to get 16s cheap, because everyone is looking for 18s or larger - I think on this car anything larger than 17s look a bit out of place - but I love 20s on CTSs - I just think it depends on the body style

When I had my '93 they did an engine swap for me under warranty in the summer of 2k. While it was there I had them take it to the body shop and paint the lower valance and mirrors. You took it one step further with the boot. Wish I had thought of it, it looks great.

Next to BLACK, I love RED. Problem is , so do the cops, no?
look at the thread on " Car Color "

Are you also going to paint the rear plate shelf red? Grill? seats?

I have another grill - we decided not to bother painting it red - the painters said I wouldn't be happy with it, it is pretty rough.

So, when I get the time - a can of black spray paint and some tape and I am going to experiment with some different looks.

We did some experiments with the plate surround - the red was too much back there - so we left it black.

It is an Italian car - it needs to be red. One of the best things about painting the lower side valances you can see the pretty line on the bottom of the car under the doors - the curve up into the car looks great.
