I have a 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 series that the rear driver side wheel bearing went bad. I think it may have damaged the axle. I can not find an "repair/offset bearing to help. I was thinking about replacing the whole axle unit with a "9" Ford rear end" . or a new "upgrade" that will be acceptable . Is this possible? Any suggestions or comments would greatly be accepted.
