My wife has a 2007 SRX4 sport package with the 3.6 for her daily driver. She traded from a Mini Cooper jcw when our third child was born. long story short are there any decent performance mods for this car? i see a lot of intake kits for the 3.6 in other vehicles but none listed as being for the SRX. The exhaust is another point of contention. With a lack of aftermarket options is it better to cut out the mid pipe and straight pipe it and leave the factory muffler or would the best noise come from changing both components. I am mechanically and technically capable so that is not a problem. I just don't want to cut out anything and the truck sound like trash.

Any related opinions, pics or videos of anyone who has modded the engine on this particular model would be greatly appreciated.
