98 Seville water in trunk
bought car in winter and noticed ice covering spare tire in trunk. removed ice, but water remains after vac***, and air dry. power door locks, rear defrost, rear seat heaters, gas gauge, open trunk button, and gas door button stopped working. Dealer says water got under rear seat and I need new computer(?) there and in driver side door.
How do I figure out where trunk is leaking? or possible rear window? can this be repaired simply? will the electical stuff start working again once kept dry for awhile? read in this forum about possible ground wire causing elec problems...I don't trust the dealership.

to test the trunk seals, close the trun over a $1 bill and see if you can move it around.
if the window leaks, it can be resealed, not hard at all.
