Default Weird heating issue

Hello everyone,

I've been noticing an issue (one of many that I'll post separately) recently that makes no sense.

1. It's 35 degrees outside, I get in the car and the vehicle thermostat (dual controls - using drivers side only) is set to 74 degrees. For a FEW moments, heat will be coming out. But after a few minutes, the air is cold... I turn the thermostat up to 77... still cold, 80, still cold.... But setting it at about 82 degrees, I can feel the warm air. Still cold on passenger side, but warm air from drivers side... BUT.... if I turn the dial ALL the way up to 90 degrees, the the heat blasts out HOT on both sides.... This shouldn't be. When I turn the heat WIDE OPEN, then the heat is VERY HOT... But what's the point of having a thermostat, if you can't set it, or you have to set it really high to have any warm air coming out?

2. For some reason, I can set the air flow to FLOOR, but still feel a LOT of air from the vents. Shouldn't it move ALL the air to the FLOOR? When I change the setting, seemingly, I can hear the changes being made behind the instrument panel.

Thanks for your help,

Pastor D.

My thought is, my messages are not reaching the forum, or.... my issue is extremely unique, since there are no replies whatsoever.

You are have problems with the actuators. You will need to take it to a tech or a shop with a TECH 2 to have diagnosed.
