Default 2005 SRX tiresensor

I have new, not original, rims and tires on my car. Get warning to check tiresensors each time I start the car. Is it possible to make the warning go away permantly or to fix it in any other way myself? Was told that the car needed to go into a dealer to get mounted new sensors in each tire and that the cars computer could only be programmed for 4 tirepressures at the time. So when I put on my snowtires in the winter, the problem would be back... Hope this is wrong...?

Actually there is a proper programmed system for the tire sensor. If you want to put it off or cut off so take it an electrician who knows well about it.So after its cutting you can fit the tire with out alarming of tire sensor.
