Hi All,
I have been looking for a used but reasonable condition 500 cu in motor for a year now, does any one have any good insight into where to look and what to check for, i spoke to the tuning guy's in Wisconsin last year but have lost there contact info.
Any help is well apreciated.

How about a Chevy Crate Motor? Don't they have the 572 crate motor running 600 horses? Ever consider supercharging your current engine? There are plenty of vendors for superchargers and turbochargers, depending on your car.

 

i dont have a 500 ci but i do have a 429 & a 472 both with tranys need to be rebuilt but selling dirt cheap

 

I HAVE A '70 ELDO 500 THAT CAME OUT OF A RUNNING CAR THAT WAS GONNA BE IN A DERBY. PULLED 3 YEARS AGO--ON ENGINE STAND, INTAKE TO PAN, PRETTY SURE EXH. MANIFOLDS ARE STILL ON IT TOO.
