FS: Northstar Ignition Module
ALL ARE SOLD, NONE LEFT, THANKS!
Hello all, I've been cleaning out my garage and came across a handful of ignition modules. These are new OEM modules, never used.
Long story short, I used to work at a facility that was a Tier 1 supplier for GM, we did alot of the injection molding, overmolding and insert molding of this part. We'd put them in a dunnage to be shipped to Delphi where they installed the elctronics and then shipped them to the factory for assembly, empty dunnages would come back to us. One came back with 5 or 6 fully assembled parts in it, Delphi didn't want to go through any extra hassle to get 5 or 6 parts, my company was going to throw them away so I snagged them. Years later here I am cleaning out my garage and come across these and some other parts and now I'm debating on just throwing them away but I just hate to do it. Figured I'd try some enthusiast forums before giving ebay a go. They might be slightly dirty/dusty from sitting in the garage but here's the specs on what I have.
We made the grey and black variants, all I have is a handful of grey.
GM P/N: 1104076
Delco P/N: D589
From the little bit of research I did it looks like it fits the Northstar V8 - VIN "Y" and VIN "9" from 2000 to 2003:
2000-2003 Seville
2000-2003 Deville
2000-2002 Eldorado
and the 2001-2003 Olds Aurora VIN "C"
I'm sure there are more Cadillac savvy people here that might have more insight into what this part fits for sure though.
GM list is $370
GMpartsdirect is $192
Rockauto is $227

Thanks!

Shipped yesterday, should see it any day.
Shipped your 2nd one this morning Bill, Parcel Post to your area might be about week or so but it's on it's way.
I've only got one left and when it's gone that's it!
Also, I hope this isn't inappropriate to forum rules, if anyone has friends/family, etc with a car with the 2.2L L61 engine (Cavalier, Classic, Cobalt, HHR, Malibu, Alero, Grand Am, Pursuit, Sunfire, and various Saturns) from around 2000-2006 I have some new OEM coils laying around for them as well. I think they fit VIN's F,6,and D. No ignition module, just the coil/ignition cassette.
