Default 400 car auction this weekend

This link shows all the vintage cars to be auctioned this weekend just outside of Toronto. There are a good number of Cadillacs. R M auctioneers regarding this as an unprecedented event.

Wonder what the reserve is on that one? Buyers premium?

All cars are being sold on a no reserve basis. I undersatnd he is retiring from the business and he has no family who want to take over so all cars will be sold. I have a friend heading out to the preview in the morning. He has his heart set on a AMC Pacer! There are three at the auction.

My friend went to the auction and he missed his Pacer by $300. He set his max bid and stuck to it. The car sold for $1,300. Next he bid up to $5,000 on a 1950 Ford 2dr. with a flathead V8, it sold for $6,800. Thank goodness he didn't bring any home we are still finishing up his auto to 5 speed conversion on his 70 Mustang. The clutch won't disenage to allow the gears to go in place unless you basically stand on the pedal. We found out today that the Mustang Clutch pedal he bought off ebay for $100 wasn't really a Mustang pedal at all, but rather it is for a Torino. That sucks so now I 'll post a wanted ad for him.
