1961 Fleetwood Sixty Special FOR SALE
1961 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special (Palestine, Texas) $6000
390 cu. In. 325 HP engine. Original mileage unknown.
Engine completely rebuilt in Feb 2009. Aprox. 1,000 miles driven since. Has not used any oil. Block bored .030, crankshaft ground .010, new cam and lifters, new oil pump, orig. valve covers re-chromed, rebuilt water pump, new belts and hoses, radiator cleaned and repaired, engine compartment detailed. Have complete engine decal set. New odometer. New battery tray, New Duralast Gold battery. Transmission works perfectly. No fluid leaks from any component.
Car originally from Arizona and New Mexico. Has original paint, original interior. Car is mechanically sound. All power windows have been cleaned and repaired including power vent windows. Heater valve rebuilt. AC /Heater cleaned, re-worked and functioning. All vacuum components functioning. Heater works great, A/C works, but not very cold (problem in hot gas bypass valve). Radio plays. Has foot control for Wonderbar Radio. Power antenna works great. All lights and turn signals functioning. All courtesy lights functioning. Cigarette lighters working. Electric seat controls work. Recently replaced windshield & gasket, heater core, radial tires.
Also included: Shop manual, sales brochure, owner’s manual / accessory manual in original folder.
Left rear vent window has a crack. Needs new speakers. Windshield washer is not working. Car needs paint, interior, and body work. Automatic headlight dimmer needs amplifier.
Spare Parts Included In This Sale:
Spare engine and transmission except for one cylinder head, two spare rear bumpers, bumper ends, tail light pods, small bumper guards (have been re-chromed). Have complete trim and some extra pieces. Have many other parts already off 1961 Sedan Deville parts car.
