Hey guys. I'm new to forums and the Cadillac world and would appreciate your help. I have a 1968 Cadillac deVille sedan worth about $5,000. The body has a few small surface rust spots and still original white paint out the factory which is in need of a do over.
I was looking for some advise about who to do it or how much to spend. I've had quotes upwards of $10,000, then I heard of maaco but they're supposed to be budget right? Not sure how to proceed.
Any help would be appreciated.

If it's not a quality job it's not worth painting. The car was painted with lacquer which can be wet sanded and polished. Not knowing what there is for rust, you could try a local car clubs for advice.
