No worries, Navy boot camp isn't that hard. If you are at Great Lakes in the winter there is no double time, and no fire drills, you still have the smoke house. I was a boot camp CPO and spent my nights in the drying room. Couldn't hang your clothes to dry outside. Dumpster night watch was a bitch in the middle of the night, but overall not too bad.

hold off .. AVIATION ?
US Air Force needs you.

you get to stay on land (no sharks) where you can actually have a life and the land doesnt sink.
the perks are nice.

boot camp (probably Texas) is about learning to be organized with some degree of physical endurance, lots of playing billiards and most of the US Air Force bases are near colleges .. hmm .. girls .. USAF tech schools all over.

work with the stealths, Missile Command, Satellite Intelligence, etc...

Blue uniforms are easier to clean than whites!

they fly Air Force One

and USAF SAC rules ...

You will love "bootcamp. (Except maybe the haircut and shots.)
Especially if you are lucky enough to get San Diego.
Naval Air is great. Clean sheets, a hot shour daily and an air conditioned building to work in. Aircraft carriers are a great way to go to war, especially in the middle east.
