Default today's Presidential speech ..

Without bashing ... please ...

On today’s Presidential speech later this morning,
Here is a little contest.

How many times will the following two phrases be said?

“ I’m concerned”
“ we are winning”

go ... before the speech ends ...

NAAHH, the guy is getting good at the patience bit. What he has to learn is that no matter how much patience we haveor no matter how long we wait, the end result will be the same. Possibly worse!
Oh well, life goes on, at least for those of us that can remain on this side of the world.
I've said it before and you'll probably hear me say it again. How great things would be today if George had brought the troops home the week after he announced on the carrier deck that "Mission accomplished"

The original poster requests no bashing, so I will refrain from the contest with all due respect.

Who won?

According to Newsweek reporter Howard Fineman, in the 9/24/01 issue,
Fineman says this statement was made in the Oval Office at the
White House during a meeting with the president and four U.S. Senators.

Fineman says Mr. Bush briefed them on plans for action against the terrorists and said,
"“When I take action, I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and
hit a camel in the butt. It’s going to be decisive.”
