Quite the odd one
Has anyone in here read about "Von Dutch" before?
I have been reading a book by Pat Ganahl on this mysterious man. Very interesting on not only him (Von D. a.k.a. Kenneth Howard)but the abundance of shops & peoplethat were around back in the early days of hot rodding. Especially in the California L.A. area.I am half way through the book, and its good stuff.

Von Dutch
After Howard death his family sold the Von Dutch name .. is not what it was.
the hot rods and shops are still here, more than our Govt would like to see (EPA).
On any given summer day, one can see hundreds of hot rod displays in just about every city.
anyone coming to CA should make it a point to attend the Pomona Auto Swap meet ..
i got a thread on that under events ...
