Default Named my new Caddy

Hey you all... Just got myself a beautiful cadillac CTS... BEAUTIFUL! Anyway I named it Van Dam (as in the Kickboxer and Frank Dukes from Blood sport). My girlfriend thought it was stupid. I didn't care about that... but she mentioned its bad luck for it not to be a girl's name... I'm pretty superstitious so it freaked me out. [&:] Anyway I wanted to know if you guys think I should change the name... What are some of the names you all came up with for your caddy?

Oh yeah.. also wanted to give a shot out to Mike Kelly Chevrolet Cadillac where i got Van Dam... http://www.mikekellyauto.com/ awesome people over there... anyone in Pittsburgh PA should definitely check this place out!

Anyway let me know what y'all think!!! [8D]

I think the car's personality (carality?) dictates what you call it. Some times a lady's name just doesn't do it justice. I've had my CTS one year today and it hasn't given me a hint of a name yet! Other car names I've had,
'73 V-8 Vega, "The Flyin' Turkey" from REO Speedwagon's instrumental song "The Flyin' Turkey Trot"
'77 Chevy Monza, "Cool Change" from Little River Band's song of the same name. I changed it from a 4 cylinder to a V-8 also.
"77 Chevy Monza Mirage, "Underdog" because nobody messed with monza's except me.

None of the other cars I've owned really moved me enough to name them. They've all been pickup trucks or econo-boxes. I hope the CTS is different. I finally enjoy just "driving"again! It will let me know what to call it. Mike.

I am weird, so people are going to look at me like that no matter what. You name boats. Why not cars? The more I learn about peolpe, the more I like my car. Mike.

Up here in Canada, French is our second language so if it must be female just add an "e"

Van Dame.....I like it. Pronunciation is the same only with a little french accent!
