i want to go get a job at a local cadillac dealership working on cars. Im in school right now learning how to work on cars. Theres some people in my class that have an internship with some places, What does the internship do, do they pay you or is it just for some shop experince untill your ready to get a job? Would they pay for my classes if i have an internship? Should i hold off on working there untill im ready to ask for an internship? And also if i get a job right now with 5 months of school experince will i be able to do reapirs on cars if i work with a tech or will have to do entry level oil and tire changes? And whats the average rate for an entry level mech.?
