President Bush Discusses Comprehensive Immigration Reform in Glynco, Georgia

THE PRESIDENT:

Thank you all very much. (Applause.) Please be seated -- unless, of course, you don't have a chair. Thanks for having me. I'm honored to be here at the headquarters of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. I don't know whether you realize this, or not, but the government originally planned to open this center inside the Capital Beltway. No one looks very sad that they didn't open it inside the Capital Beltway.

We have a mission, a vital mission, and that's to protect our country. And you all are on the front lines of that protection. And it gives me great confidence when I meet you to tell the American people there's a lot of decent souls doing everything they can to provide security for the American people. So, thanks.

I appreciate the folks at FLETC that I met that are working the border and helping train people to secure this border of ours.
want to know where is Glynco, Georgia ?

Pardons For Drug Dealers, Jail For Border Patrol Agents

President George W. Bush has pardoned 14 criminals, including several drug dealers and a man convicted for bombing a coal mine, but he refused to pardon two U.S. Border Patrol agents sentenced to prison for intercepting an illegal immigrant drug smuggler at the Texas-Mexico border last year.

Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were guarding the Mexican border near El Paso in February 2005 when they intercepted a van loaded with 743 pounds of marijuana. The admitted drug smuggler, an illegal alien named Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila, tried to flee and one of the agents shot him in the buttocks though he still got away.

Federal prosecutors actually went to Mexico and offered the drug dealer immunity to testify against the Border Patrol agents who were subsequently convicted on charges of causing serious bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, discharge of a firearm and violating the drug smuggler’s civil rights. The agents were sentenced to 11 and 12-year prison terms.

The White House has received at least 50 requests for presidential pardons from members of Congress and hundreds of thousands of additional requests from outraged citizens who feel the agents have been wrongly punished

i cant take it anymore.

the subject of immigration and his lack of control, lack of
enforcement has taken me over the top.

let it rip ..
i say do it well, do it with style and get the message across
to everyone you know. tell everyone that we shall not take this
behavior anymore, from any Pres, from Congress or from Senate.

please, restrain the name calling and bashing .. such ways just fuel
the wrong side that DO support this behavior. make every word count,
make your votes count. dont let it happen.

Tell everyone to FAX, call & write their Reps and have our
govt ENFORCE current law. enough is enough !

there is not much i have to say. what the Pres has done or not done,
is all on record.

the latest in a long series of disappointments ..

by President G.W. Bush
June 28, 2007

"You know, I've heard all the rhetoric -- you've heard it, too -- about how this is amnesty," Bush told supporters of the bill at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. "Amnesty means that you've got to pay a price for having been here illegally, and this bill does that."
by Press Secretary Tony Snow
June 28, 2007

"Earlier today, in speaking about comprehensive immigration reform, President Bush misspoke,"

"This has been construed as an assertion that the comprehensive immigration reform legislation before the Senate offers amnesty to immigrants who came here illegally. That is the exact opposite of the president's long-held and often-stated position."

If there is one thing President Bush has been clear about regarding the immigration bill before the Senate, it is that the measure does not amount to amnesty. More than most people, Bush knows that "amnesty" has become a radioactive term.
But as the Senate prepared to resume discussion of the bill yesterday, Bush inadvertently unleashed the slur on his own bill. Worse, he did it during a speech intended to give a final push to the measure.

I Want to Make Land available
to build the Minuteman Border Fence!

If you live next to the Mexican border, minus public property, which is usually a 60 feet easement from the actual border, or are separated from the Mexican border by not more than two miles and receive an inundation of illegal crossings and activity from intruders believed to be from Mexico, you can qualify for a high tech security fence, designed to meet local requirements typical designs include: [blockquote] ·10-foot-separated poles 14-feet high, 4-feet planted in ground with cement
·Anti-Climb welded wire mesh panels 14-feet high
·Integrated vehicle barrier
·Concertina wire at top
·FOMGuard Fiber Optic Fence Mesh Fencing 8-feet high early illegal alien detection
·Surveillance cameras linked to early waning system with Registered Minutemen Volunteers to monitor and report illegal aliens, includes web based monitoring, automatic email messaging, remote web controls and precision satellite map location.
·Minuteman Civil Defense Corps Security patrols.
[/blockquote] For More information on making your land available to build the Minuteman Border Fence, send and email to borderlandownerswanted@minutemanhq.com today!
