baseball - 2007
Just had to remark over the "Fans" at Fenway last night. Hundreds of "T" shirts with an "asterisk" on them for Barry Bonds first appearance in town.
Also "dead silence everytime he came to bat. (One single for the night.)
Also a "standing ovation" for "Dave Roberts" everytime he came to bat. He could not have been happier. Even cheered when he hit a double. He had a "ball" last night. (Member of the 2004 World Series team and although a "Giant," still a member of "Red Sox Nation.")

Het Zin: Don't count those Yankees out yet! They were 141/2 games back, and now a lot closer, and now on a roll, and a lot of ball left in the season. Could come down to the wire, don't you think?

.If you'll check every post I've made on this subject you will see a forcast for the Sox and Yankees being in it down to the last week..
(We haven't even seen the all star game yet.)
What I like about Florida is that you can go down there at any time and get good seats at the gate for any game whether it be baseball or football. (Don't know anything about the basketball or hockey teams)
With all those people moving to Florida, it's strange to find football and baseball fans are not in the crowd.
Also, with the interleague play I am really surprised at the amount of Red Sox fans in the stands almost outnumbering the home teams whether it be in Florida, Atlanta, Phoenix, Seattle, or even I expect we'll see in San Diego
(Now those Florida college games are a whole differant ball game.)
Of course, if you bet against the Red Sox your throwing your money away.
Judging from this site, I just might be able to get a bet down in the World Series.
