Is it time to trade cars?? OBC code P0009
2008 STS 66000 miles
FSC DTC
My check engine light came on.
I attached my code reader. In Cadillac OEM enhanced mode it gave me a P0009 code for engine position system performance bank 2.
also
P0690 Engine controls ignition relay, Feedback circuit high voltage.
Are these expensive repairs? Should I go car shopping while the Check Engine Light is off?

P0009 is related to timing chains, there is a special policy in place where coverage has been extended to 10yrs/120k so go by dealer and see if it applies to your car. The P0690 will require diagnosis so IDK

Slowroll, you were exactly right. Called dealer to confirm VIN, appointment for next week. No charge, will start by reprogramming, then proceed to mechanical if required.
