Good Morning Gentlemen,
New to this forum and hoping that I have found a new place to "hang out". I am looking for advice in making the decision to buy a Cadillac. I have found a 1999 Deville with 163K that looks to have been taken care of. My reservations are based on the fact that I don't have any experience with 4.6L Northstar and the reviews on other sites, worry me. Also worried about all the electronics. Please chime in and hopefully put my mind at ease. I love the way the car looks and this would be my first Caddy.
Thanks for your consideration.

Well, 163K is a lot of miles! If the engine was going to go south, it would have done so by now, I would think? Also, by 99 the N* engine proved its reliability. By then, Cadillac had 6 years to work out the kinks.
If the price is right, and the car appears well maintained, go for it!
