Hi. I just joined , and am not great at digital forum communication.So forgive me if i am posting in the wrong section. I'm not certain the tech section is the right one either.
I almost bought a 2012 SRX yesterday. However, i have 4 herniated cervicla disks and that headrest is far too instrusive. In the past, i always turned headrests around.I could not remove this headrest. I did try removing the headrest in a Dodge Compass recently, i used a paperclip to raise the headrest, but then there were wires connecting the headrest to the seat body. I really have no idea how the Caddy hearest is set up. The dealer i was at refused to discuss it.His service departmewnt was open, but he did not want to consider even turning the headrest around for me, or showing me how to release the headrest. Said it was an issue of liability.
Anyone have any knowledge regarding removing 2012 SRX headrests. I'd s ure leik to know if they can be turned around, how tro do it, and if there are any sensores in them that relate to the computer.
