New to the site, bought my first Cadillac a couple of days ago, wish I would have spent some time on here before I bought, seems like they have some major electrical issues.....

2002 SLS w/61k, paid a fair amount of money for car, had Father in law drive it for me, I live 180 miles away. Went to pick it up, dark out, and about -5, so doing much investigating wasn't real easy.

Car looked like brand new, told me nothing wrong with car.

Heated seat.........no work
Driver Door unlock at park, no work......might be in settings?
Rear Brake Calipers, don't appear to be working.
Front tires both very low on air pressure.


Looking forward to the car and info here, posting articles etc. Any tips on preventative maintenance etc would be greatly appreciated! I have heard these motors have head gasket issues? True/False? Comments? I love the car and plan to keep a very long time, just love the car. Black on Black....only thing it's missing is the moonroof and the other STS HP!
