I have been looking at sites like autotrader for a 91 and the older body 92 cadillac fleetwood painted black. They seem to go for under 3k. Is there anything I should know these years before I go looking at one?

other than they are cool, a nice ride, fat, V8, and in black you'd be pimpen for sure!!!???? Overall pretty god cars.The body style you like runs from 1989 - 1993. 89 - 90 tbi cars have the least problems. 1990 - 1993 4.5 and 4.9 pfi are a little more problemsum, when battery goes dead you need to idle learn them, they added some features they could have left off. They all tend to develope oil leaks.The good part is they are everything that makes a cadillac a cadillac : good styling,comfortable interiors, and a great ride. They're alot more inexpensive to repair than a northstar. But you will need to know someone who knows how to work on it, it is not a chevy. So if you them, the hardest thing you face is finding the car you want.Hope it helps
