New Kid on the Block
Hello everyone,
well I guess I am the new kid on the block or the FNG! either way this is my first Caddy that I have bought. it is a 76 Eldorado convertible that I am buying off of my uncle and the car has sat in his garage for the past five plus years. not really sure how long it has sat because he is 78 and I little confused about the time one cousin says four years another says 10 so. but I almost have him paid in full. while it is in his garage I plan on draining all the fluids and replacing them. air the tires up and check for dry rot and flat spots on them and replacing the battery. is there anything else that I may have missed that needs addressed? I am sure I will be on here asking a lot of questions in the up coming months before I pull it out in the spring so I can make sure it is ready to roll.

Maybe a new seal kit to rebuild it or a new master cylinder complete is cheap insurance. I've had the brakes go out on an old car and it's not fun.
