Let me introduce myself
Hello everyone.
My name is Dirk, I live in the Netherlands and just recently bought my first Cadillac.
It's a '95 Eldorado with just over 200.000 miles on it.
To me this car is a bit of a dream come true even though the car needs a bit of TLC.

Welcome Rare car for Europe GM didn't officially sell them there. Back in 1998, I met a fellow from Sweden. He was picking up parts in the States for one he was exporting to Europe. His sister lived in Virginia. The car was bought and shipped from Canada

Allthough GM did not officially sell the car here, in a few countries they where imported new anyways. Mine is one of those, recognizable by it's EU-spec taillights which are impossible to find.
Nice story about the Swedish man, always good to hear of people going to great lenghts for a car.
