Default Hello from Switzerland

Hi
I was searching for more infos on Cadillac Eldorados and came to this board.
I currently own a '91 Camaro Z28 (since 13yrs)and a Fiero GT, both 5-speed.
I want to replace the Fiero, my daily driver, with something newer, faster. First I was thinking about f-bodies. Other possibilities are Regal GSor GrandPrix GTP.
Then I was thinking Eldorado because I like the looks of it.
I don't know much about Cadillacs in detail. I had a Seville STS for a day and liked it.
Well thats about it. Any questions?

Best Greetings from over the pond
Patrik

ah, and don't forget to help me with my Q:

First of all I would like to say what a beautiful country. I spent 2 weeks in an opel staionwagon traveling all through it. The only thing better then the beauty of the country was the welcome we received from the citizens.

As to your question, the Buick and the Pontiac of good cars, IMO the Eldo is a step up.

I believe it was Slowroll that mentioned his favorite Eldo years and why. Maybe he will voice it again when he see this thread.

God luck

You are looking to replace a two seater with a 4 seater?
Or are you looking for another two seater .. ?

BTW, what is a Fiero GT go for in $$$ there?

BTW, Gary loved the eye candy when he was there last year but the wife
just wouldnt let him taste it.

Acutally I was in Switzerland 3 years ago and Sweden last summer. However you are right, both countries had great eye candy, but there was no comparison in the landscape.

Yes, as much fun it is to drive the Fiero, it has not much room. And I don't drive that fast in corners...

hard to say how much they are worth. I'd say I should still get ~$5000.- but we will see.

about the eye candy: you should go to czech republique...

asked since I once had a '86 GT Fiero in my fleet. Not much in the way of
luxury or comfort, but fun to drive.

Romania is like a gold mine for eye candy + more, I am told.

Eldorados of vintage I like, but the new ones seem a bit restrained in design for my taste.

love the STS you mentioned and even more the '08 STS,
ditto on the CTS

bonus++ dittos on either the STS-V or CTS-V series, supercharged.

When you go from the CTS to the STS to the ElDorado, each is like a different world.
Both in size, style, and performance. You get luxury on all of them.
