Can the same paint used on a car's body be used on the fillers?.. I know.. stupid question. . .

Yes and no, If the fillers are soft you will need a flex agent for the paint so it will less likely to crack or peel. They hard style don't require flex agent. I suggest to find some one / where that is good matching the color so it wont stand out too bad unless you a ready to do the whole car at once. If you have old paint from where car was painted in the past, have knowledgeable person see if it is still usable.

I do have old paint but it's a little off from the car.. and.. yeh i still don't know if i should paint them or just wait when it's time to repaint the whole car!

If they are going to be the hard style I would put color on them. If soft I would wait. Do you have a time table to correct the rough spots and paint? If not Remeber Vo-Techs are a low cost long wait option. Rust can be an issue pix don't look like it's too bad, pretty minor, but they are just pix as opposed to being there to really see it.

The rust spots are pretty small. . . and i will look into getting hard ones :) thanks!
