Default Hello all

New to the forum here and new to Cadillac as well. Just got my first Cadillac a 1999 Seville in great shape, still has the plastic on the floor from the factory. I really love the car, it is great, only if i could get 30mpg in the city. Damn Gas

Hi TS.
welcome.
I'm new to cadillac as well.
I was pleasantly surprised to see my Devilleaveraging 22-23 mpg. That's actuallynot too badfor a v8 and 2 ton car.
My previous car, chevy lumina v6 was'nt much better in fuel economy.

Hi TS/ I too am new to cadillac about a month ago I purchased a 1993 cadillac sedan deville and I love it.
my car has 75,000 miles on it and it rides and drives better than any new cars that I have owned over the years. Does your car have the northstar engine in it??? A buddy of mine has a 1999 cadillac sedan deville that he reciently purchased and he is already thinking of getting rid of it because a couple of people have told him that the northstar engine is no good. If you or anyone else can give me some info. on this I will pass it along to him. Thanks mdcadman

you kidding?

the GM Nortstar set the new standard for engines for this century.
the N* is even the only automobile engine tested and certified for flight by the FAA.

change the coolant and do the maint and she will go 400,000 ++++ EASY !
