Default Hello

Hi my name is JP I am currently in the process of restoring a 1968 deville convertable. I was wondering if anyone has any idea if I could use a frame off a 1967 2 door coupe in the mix of buying this two door coupe, there is also a 1967 limo and a 1967 flower car, I have not decided what to do with the other two vehicle.

Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers

I believe that convertible frames have more bracing in them because convertibles flex more than a roofed car. Probably not a good idea unless you can replicate the bracing.

As far as 67's go I have a real soft spot for them as my uncle had a Coupe de Ville and when I was 10 I thought I was the King of the World driving around in that. I'd say restore both to original, especially the flower car beausae there are just not that many.

Here's a 63 Limo I posted yesterday:

JP
that FLOWER Car may just be the most valuable and rare of the bunch.
they also make cool cars to haul big stuff .

take a look in the collections section.
