Default Cadillac Fleetwood VAT System

I really need help from anyone whose gone through what I'm going through. I have a 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood that the VAT system wouldn't allow me to start my car. I've bypassed the VAT system and the car starts. But here comes the problem. Whenever I leave the car off for about 45 mins to an hour, I can go back outside and try to start the car and the security light is right back on. So in order for me to start the car back up I have to unhook the positive terminal of the battery and place it on the negative post of the battery to clear and codes that happen to be stored in the Body Control Module, then it will start. What can I do to solve this problem. Thank you very much. Eric.
