Default Brand New....to me

Howdy.

Just traded my 04 Dodge Ram 5.7 for a Cadillac Certified 05 CTS Sport & Luxury (with no small amount of help from these here forums).

It's Moonstone on the outside and black leather guts, 28k miles off a lease and I think I got a decent deal....$19,999...listed @ $22,988. Edmunds' TMV = dealership retail price = $24,950....so given all that I'm pretty good with the extra $40/month in payment....something I will save about 6 times over in a month's worth of fuel.

Now I have to start shopping for a shop to upgrade the stereo, figure out how to get my windows tinted the right amount and still be able to find a shop to pass the inspection, and pony up the cash for a CAI.

I have my work cut out for me....

Thanks to a whole bunch of you as I read a ton of threads on here before making my decision...

Sure I lost about 90 hp....but I also shed 1635 lbs in curb weight.

I went from 5144lb/345hp (14.91lb/hp) to 3109lb/255 (12.19lb/hp)...and I think I gained some handling too....

I didnt look it up .. wondering .. do you know what the 0 - 60 is on both cars?
with Dodge 14.91 lbs/hp vs CTS 12.19 lbs/hp The CTS should be faster .. but not sure.

The truck was probably 7.5-8.0...0-60....but also had to mediate the go-pedal because with no weight in the back the tires would just light up.

CTS is 6.4-6.5....0-60....so it's noticeably quicker.
