I seem to have an issue with shifting into Drive and Reverse. I am going down until I hit 2nd and then coming up a bit to engage the Drive feature. Same thing for Reverse. I need to pass it on the way up and then come down with the lever to engage the gear.. I see that there are 3 different connections in the motor compartment but do not know which one is worn out or giving me the issue.

 

Shifting issue could involve gear selector or linkage adjustment.
