There is a sticker on the inside of the driver door, but it is only a sticker. Isn't there a stamped plate that shows the vin#? Couldn't find it in the usual places... dash, engine side firewall. Any ideas?

 

Ok, I found where the VIN is supposed to be, but all that is there is a piece of cracked rust. This vin plate is so bad I didn't even recognize it as a vin plate. Any ideas (that aren't illegal) to fix this? Has anyone run into this before?

does it match the sticker on the door jamb?

No pink. I am applying for a bonded title which is why I was double checking all the spots that I could find a vin.
