Hello guys.
I have a imported STS 1992 4.9 (i live in sweden)
And i have normaly a problem with the suspension.
That i cant have as 4- 5 ppl in the car. Becuse then you feel its to soft and hits (dont know the english word for it) but its like full load or over load.

And Today it had changed to go like offroad style ,and have the suspension stretched to max .

Normaly it is much lower .

And i have not done anything . I use the car everyday and have done that for 2 years now.
It have 280 000 KM on the meter. And its much stiffer now when its on "High mode" or how i shuld say

So i wondering how to fix this ? it is a "rare" car here.

Photobucket uses capital letters, our software wont .. all oen has to do is to swap the IMG for img and voila, the pictures arrive.



how heavy are the 4 to 5 people?
it is not rare for any car to "bottom" when carrying that many adults and going over bumps or dips.

did you do something to change the car's height or it did it by itself?
if you did nothing, check for codes and post them here.

ok .. i had to get to my calculator ..
280,000 km = 174,000 miles
a hefty amount of miles, has the car had any work on the suspension, struts, etc?

The hight did change byt itself 2 3 days ago.
I have never have it this high and i have tryed to figure it out why it is like this.
But i have no clue why.

Yes my car does Bottom at 4 normal sized ppl weight about 70 -80 KG / Person
I have nothing special in the trunk more then a amp and a basbox that can be like 10 KG.

I shall go out and check the codes. Will post back when that is done.

Well now it have been going 2 weeks or so seens i posted.
Cant find a code or anything why this happends.
And the suspension or sometimes at high and some times at low .
but the last days it have stayed normal and did go on a crusing here and had 4 Grown up PPL in the car it like to scratch the plastic of the bumper. So i must take it very carefull at anykind of roadbump with 4 ppl in the car.

I guess i must get new struts/shocks for the car ?
