Default Sooooo, I'm going to literally smash this car

Any how, I have a 92 DeVille that I was going to derby..... I drove it home and started to strip it out, and when I got the interior out and put an approved fuel tank in it doesn't want to run right.... Now.... I used the fuel pump out of the stock tank in the approved tank. It has 45 psi of fuel pressure. And the fuel pump is on a switch (due to rules). It acts like it's running stupid rich on start up and "floods out". I checked all the vacuum lines they are where they are supposed to be. Also I didn't cut any wires when I was gutting it..... If anybody has any insight it would be very much appreciated... Thanks
