Default SLS Gone to crap need some help

2 weeks ago i had to replace my alternator on my 99 slsand was told i should change the battery as well asap. so over the last 2 weeks it has been sluggish to turn over (slow cranks) finally yesterday i put a new battery in myself then turned the car on. everything went well, though i did not drive it i turned it on and let it run for a few minutes. i came outside this morning to go to work and everything turned on fine except the car would not start. i checked the battery voltage and it read 12.2 volts. My car wont start now and ive double, possibly triplechecked all wirings that i had touched. any input would be apprecitated. thanks

Re-check the conections because even the smallest amount of being loose will affect everything. Welcome to the forum also.
