Default service stability system

Hi
Wondering if anyone would know what would be causing the following:

My 2000 STS today said "Service Stability System" along with that the ABS and TC symbols came up at the same time, this happened while I was driving. I then got to the place I was going, shut the car off about 30 minutes later, got back in the car , turned the car on and the symbols never came back up nor did the 'service stability system' so I drove the car about 20 miles to another appt. and the symbols never came back up. Then a few hours later I was driving again about another 20 miles and all of a sudden again the 'service stability system' words came up along with the ABS and TC symbols.

Seems that when I turn off the car, it resets and the traction control and ABS brakes work, but then after awhile something seems to happen and the service stability systemwords up and the traction control and abs symbols come up.

Does anyone have any idea what this problem could be?

thanks for your help in advance

sh

I just had the same codes come up on my 2000 DTS this evening. Is there a way that I can find those codes on my own, or will I need to take it to a shop and have the computer scanned?
