Default Service Parts Identification sticker

I have a 2006 Cadillac DTS. How can I tell if I have standard or heavy duty brakes. I have the "Service Parts Identificaiton" sticker. How can i decode the numbers on the sheet to tell if I have heavy duty regular brakes.

You might want to post in the DTS section and see if anybody there has a service manual for that year and model. I have one for my 05 CTS and it lists JE2 as "Brake Lining Performance Driving". JE5 is "Brake System Power, antilock, front and rear", JL4 is "control active brake" and JL9 is "Brake System Power, Front and Rear Disc, Antilock, Front and Rear Wheel" They might not be the same across year and models. The service manual lists all the RPO (regular production option) codes and a very brief description, as you can tell. Happy Hunting. Mike.

BETTER YET

Use the VIN to RPO converter at: http://www.compnine.com/vid.php

It covers 1980 to early 2010. It provides a list and descriptions for your vehicle.
