Default Service Airbag

2004 CTS: I have a "Service Airbag" indication. I went to check my owners manual, and that page was torn out! Anyone have the page, and directions on how to "service" the airbag? Is this something you can do yourself, or am I looking at having to go to the dealer?

Thanks!

not sure what it means but working with airbags can and is quite dangerous if you dont do everything that you have to do.

I suggest you have a pro at least take a look at it. I think that locksmiths are qualified .. less expensive than a dealer.

A trip to the dealer is required, unless you are going to guess with parts. Unfortunately a scanner is required and many times only dealer has a scanner that will work. It is possible a local repair shop will have a scanner than will work to diagnose it. However many of the parts are dealer only and some will require dealer installation.
