Default Remote keyless entry

Have a 92 Fleetwood. I have two remotes that don't work. Put in new batteries. Dealer tested the remotes, they're ok. Have the service manual. Did the procedure for programming remotes in the service manual. Nothing. They said to jump the wires in the Assembly Line Diagnostic Link Connector. Manual said to jump terminal G (PPL/WHT) to terminal A (BLK/WHT). I jumped the correct terminals and nothing worked. The problem is terminal G, has a red wire in that spot. No purple and white wires are in that connector. I will be going back to the dealer to get some insight. This Fleetwood is in excellent condition and has 86,000 original miles. Not much has been done except for routine maintenance. I guess I'll do some diagnostic tests to see if keyless entry module is bad. If anyone has any advice, I'm open. Thanks!

I also have problem similar to yours when i use the jumper wire my doors will lock and unlock but my trunk does not open. When i push the remote it will work once and that is it. Did you find the problem with yours what was causing that to happen?

i had the same problem with my 92 deville. i was told that the modulle was problly bad. i had bought two remotes brand new and they both had only worked once so at least i knew it wasnt the remotes. I still kept the remotes just in case i get them to work on another older cady. Or if some one wants to buy them cheap.

As for wchyrchel see if the ppl/wht is used in a different spot. i read your previous post and i would point to the module needing replaced.
