Default Recently bought a CTS ----ALMOST JUST DIED (srs)

I was getting on a highway and halfway thru the turn my brakes got very hard (like when ur engine is off and u pump them), also my steering wheel was extremely hard to move (just like when the car is off). i almost crashed into the wall going 50-55mph. by really trying hard to turn the wheel, and by pumping on the brakes the car came to a stop. i noticed the battery light was on (never has happened before). i turned the engine off, than started it again and the brakes wheel was working fine. but i feel like when i step on the gas the rpms go up but i dont get the same acceleration as a few days ago.

cliffs:
driving...wheel wont turn and brakes wont work
come to a stop
turn off/on engine, everything seems fine
the engine feels weaker

PLEASE if i can get some replys as what might be wrong with my car that would be great. i just bought it 15days ago, its an 2004 CTS, 115k miles.

also if this might help: right before it did that the power driver seat wouldn't work. also, the windshield wipers malfunction, like they don't stop when its on the stop position (i tried every position)

GLHF, sorry to see you've had issues with your rather new (to you) CTS. Have you checked in with our Customer Assistance team to see what they can do for you in regards to this? Also did you end up getting a GMPP or anything from us like purchasing the vehicle as a Certified Pre Owned Cadillac?
