Default Reading Codes

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the board and have found some useful information already. I am having a little difficulty in reading code on my 1998 Deville. I'm not sure if I am reading the codes correctly or if I need to go a step further. I have turned the ignition to the on position and pushed the OFF and WARMER buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. The display then flashes and comes up with PCM History and then a code of P1527, then procedes to go through the other code histories as well (ACM, SMD, IRC, etc.) If there is no code it comes up as no code. Here is what I have found for history codes so far, P1527, B1148, B1147, B1347, U1255, U1255, U1096. Then at the end it has PCM?

Is there something further that I need to do to get specific codes and where can I get the meaning of each code?

Thanks,
Bob

Yes, I did have a message pop up on the display the other day that read AC Refrig low. I bought a can of freon with a gauge and when I put the gauge on the low side of the AC line it was reading high to the red alert zone. That's when I tried to read the codes. How do I clear all the codes? How long will it take for codes to reappear if there is a problem? 1998 Deville.
