Hey everyone, I haven't been on in a while, been too caught up with work. I am taking the DTS to the shop today around 4 and am having them put a new exhaust on. I kind of want to straight pipe it, but I also would like some mufflers put on. I want it as loud as possible without sacrificing sound quality. I'm going to be the a**hole that you can hear from across town. Say I go straight pipe, roughly how much would that cost to do? Or say I go with one of the many $30 mufflers over at the shop, then how much? I want to keep it dual of course. Just need some prices.

 

That depends on where you are and what you can get away with. You could replace the mufflers with straight pipes. The cat conv would be the muffler/spark arrester. No shop is going to legally remove cat conv and straight pipe it and you would have dtc. Since loudness is important have funds for faulty equipment tickets.
